LA BESTIA

Every year, an estimated 400,000 to 500,000 migrants ride La Bestia across Mexico to the U.S. Border. Driven by sheer desperation from their homelands due to ongoing high rates of poverty, underdevelopment, and chronic violence. These people despite knowing the risks wish to reach the land of endless opportunities in hope of a better future with their loved ones.
